07:00 - 08:00 Meditation, pranayama, and asanas
You will start your day with a peaceful meditation session followed by pranayama (breathing exercises) and asanas (yoga postures) to awaken your body and mind.
09:30 - 10:30 Breakfast break
After your morning practice, you will enjoy a nourishing breakfast to fuel you for the rest of the day.
10:30 - 13:30 Theory
During this time, you will dive deeper into various aspects of yoga including anatomy, philosophy, and asana clinics. You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and understanding of the practice.
13:30 - 15:30 Lunch break
You will take a break for a delicious and healthy lunch, giving you time to relax, recharge, and connect with your fellow trainees.
3:30 PM - 6:30 PM Afternoon session
In the afternoon, you will explore various asanas through workshops and practices, including Yin and Restorative yoga. You will have the opportunity to refine your teaching skills and deepen your practice.
6:30 PM Dinner and free evenings
Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
This is a hybrid training with 40 hours of online training and 160 hours of in-person training on paradise island Koh Phangan. The online portion should be completed before arrival at Koh Phangan. You will have access to the online training four weeks prior to the start of the residential training. All online classes (anatomy and philosophy plus additional quizzes to test knowledge) are prerecorded and you can watch them on Teachable.
Feminine balance's experienced faculty will guide you through yoga philosophy, anatomy, asana practice, pranayama, and meditation. You gain practical teaching experience through mentorship and peer support and review. Explore specialized workshops on yoga ethics, classroom management, and the business of yoga. Upon completion, you will receive a certification, emerging as a skilled and confident yoga teacher ready to inspire others on the training. Yoga is not just a physical practice. It is also a spiritual practice, and it can transform your life.
This training will certify you to teach yoga and enhance your self-development. You will go outside of your comfort zone but be supported throughout by amazing teachers. This is an introduction to different aspects of yoga, including safe and effective practice. Upon completion, you will have a thorough knowledge of anatomy, understand how to sequence and design a yoga class, have an awareness of the history and philosophy of yoga, and have gained the confidence to teach. You will also leave with tools to commence or continue living a well-balanced and healthy yoga lifestyle.
