Functional description:
Family Mindfulness Course;
Healthy stress is a natural part of life, including childhood. Both adults and children must be challenged to grow and develop. However, in the modern education system and in modern life, healthy stress is often displaced by toxic stress. Toxic Stress occurs when the demands of life consistently exceed our ability to cope with those demands.
Benefits:-
Attention: Strengthens our “mental muscle” to develop focus to where we want it, when we want it.
Compassion: Awareness of our own thoughts, emotions and senses increases our understanding of what other people are experiencing.
Emotional Regulation: Observing our emotions helps us recognize when they occur, see their transitory nature, and change the way we respond to them.
Calming: Breathing and other mindfulness practices relax the body and mind, giving access to peace regardless of external circumstances.
Adaptability: Becoming aware of our patterns allows us to gradually change habitual behaviors with wisdom.
Resistance: Seeing things objectively reduces the amount of narrative we add to the natural ups and downs of the world. Giving us greater balance.
