Tiny Whale Surf believe the majority of surf holidays are broken with too many students and/or too many different levels mixed in one group. It’s not their thing to chase the ‘surfer lifestyle’. They believe surfing can feed the mind, body, and soul, and they make that rare holiday count with a personalized and holistic approach to surf coaching.
We believe the majority of surf holidays and surf camps out there are broken & large groups full of mixed ability surfers chasing the 'surfer lifestyle' just aren't our thing. Surfing can feed the mind, body, and soul, and making that rare holiday count with a personalized approach to surf coaching is what we do.

Tiny Whale Surf has thought hard about the best coaching, help, and advice beginner and intermediate surfers need to make rapid progress in the sport and designed their "surfers handbook" so that together with your surf coach, you can easily measure your success and know what to focus on next. You'll receive personalized lessons in small groups, video coaching, theory sessions, in-water coaching, and a whole lot more to leave at the end of the week with a new library of surf skills and knowledge you can use for the rest of your life.
Physically, it's a packed week, but yoga sessions are designed to stretch, relax, and restore your body before surfing the next day, so you feel energized each day. This week's perfect if you're either relatively new to yoga or have a current practice that you want to continue with a high-quality instructor.
Surf coaching
This is the surf and yoga holiday that takes surf coaching seriously. You'll be coached in a small group with surfers at a similar level and lessons will be structured around their surfers handbook so you'll understand what level you're at, and what to focus on next using some fantastic coaching tools and lessons. The biggest emphasis is always on fun, but their highly qualified coaching team will make sure your surfing and surf knowledge takes a big step forward during a week spent with them.
Typical day
All equipment will be prepared for you, boards and lunch packed and ready to go. Simply pick your wetsuit size and grab your sun cream! Your instructors will take you to the best beach on that day, depending on your level, the weather, and swell conditions. Each surf day includes two lessons with a break in between for lunch.
After improving your surf skills, you’ll be transported back to the surf lodge for a deep relaxing evening yoga session to open energy lines and flush lactic acid from muscles. Wrap the day up with a healthy feast from the in-house chef whilst mingling with fellow surfers around the fire pit.
We're running yoga sessions every day of the week, normally in the afternoons to stretch out and prepare body & mind for the next day's surfing. There's plenty of time to fit any of our wellness options in & to enjoy a good book or podcast in our garden or around our pool.
During your stay, you will be provided with seven healthy breakfasts, five beach or lodge lunches, and five delicious two-course evening meals at the lodge, cooked by the in-house chef utilizing fresh, local produce. All diets can be catered for with prior arrangements. When you need to unwind, they also have their outdoor bar open in the evening with snacks and drinks available to purchase at the bar for a small cost.
