This activity holiday takes place in the national park of South Morocco where you will enjoy wonderful endless beaches and stay in a small luxury hotel, Tiger Lounge, with all rooms with a sea view, excellent meals, a yoga teacher with 30 years of teaching practice, trekking, sightseeing, surfing, laughing, talking, singing mantras, and playing drums! The language of instruction will be English and/or German. If all rooms in the Tiger Lounge (5 rooms) are full there is a second private Villa with a sea view where you can stay. Please ask in which location, Yogitrip will have a place!
Day 1: Arrival
Transfer from the airport to the hotel in the National Park of Souss Massa, then check-in at the hotel
There will be free time to arrive and get to know the surroundings and each other

Day 2: Trekking tour - National Park of Souss Massa

After breakfast, you will hike through the national park to the lagoon through eucalyptus forests along a river, and back to the wonderful beach. Here you will be able to observe many different bird species.
In the afternoon, there will be a henna tattoo workshop or you can enjoy some free time at the beach.

Day 3: Excursion to Agadir

You will have a wonderful breakfast on the terrace and drive to Agadir to get to know the city, the bazaar, the market for vegetables and spices, the carpet shop, and the marina.
The excursion to Agadir will be 50 kilometers far from the hotel. It will take about 50 minutes. There you will eat fresh fish in a modern restaurant at the port. You will take a walk at the six-kilometer-long beach. When traveling back in the later afternoon, there is an option to visit pottery.

Day 4: Trekking tour - Moroccan Sahara

The trekking tour will take about four hours. You can expect a stunning landscape with flocks of sheep, goats, and tents of nomads. You will hike through an impressive dune landscape behind a romantic fishing village.
At noon, everyone will eat fresh fish at a restaurant directly from the beach. If you want, you can ride a dromedary along the beach or through the dunes.

Day 5: Excursion to Marrakesh (optional)
There will be no yoga in the morning for this day. You can either sleep in or join an excursion to Marrakesh, which is optional and is not included in the price. You can also go surfing, body boarding, or relaxing.

Day 6: Trekking tour - Beaches and bays, fishing village

Today, you will hike from bay to bay above the cliffs until you get to a small fishing village. The hike will take about three hours. You can expect secluded bays with shell sand and multifaceted coastlines. You will visit the cave houses of the fishermen, collect shells, and create mandalas.
You will be able to relax in the afternoon.

Day 7: Beach, sun, and ocean

You will have a free day for relaxation, walks at the beach, a Turkish bath, wellness, swimming, and many other options. There will also be no yoga in the evening.

You will observe the diverse wildlife of the national park and do a guided tour with bird watching, travel to Agadir for one day, and visit cave houses and traditional villages. Daily yoga practices will take place on the stunning terrace looking over the sea, on the beach, or in the yoga place.
If you are interested, you can learn how to cook traditional Moroccan meals. Surf equipment like overalls and boards are free. On days two to seven, there will be daily yoga practice, meditation, and breathing exercises in the morning and evening.
For the retreat, breakfast and dinner are included and will be served in the respective hotel. You will have lunch in very nice traditional restaurants while on the road. The food in Morocco is very varied and good. There is a strong French influence, remaining from the colonial era. Fresh fruits and vegetables of local farms are available in the local markets.
The traditional dish is tajine, a dish cooked in a clay pot over the fire, vegetarian if desired, with lamb, chicken, fish or beef, mixed with vegetables, dried fruits, pickled lemons and olives and wonderful spices. Patisserie with almonds, lemons, dates, and dessert. The national drink is the "thé à la menthe," a green tea with mint leaves and fresh sugar.
