A GYPSET Yoga Retreat with Melissa and Laurel was exactly what my corporate mama soul needed to ensure I was refreshed and re-energized after a long year of work, building teams, and deadlines. It was the perfect mix of connectedness with the other attendees, a peaceful time on my mat, and good workouts that challenged my mind and body. The organic from-scratch meals were another way to nourish and replenish, and I’m so grateful for this time away with the beautiful leadership of Melissa and Laurel. This is the best investment I’ve made for myself this year and cannot wait for my next retreat!

Considering a Yoga Retreat
Retreats provide a unique opportunity to experience the health benefits of yoga in a distraction-free environment, while also taking advantage of the extreme relaxation you can find on a tropical vacation. A break in routine can offer existential clarity, giving you the courage to make changes in work, hobbies or relationships.
Things to do (optional)
Days can be spent lazing Moroccan style; lounging, reading, or swimming in one of the two pools, playing cribbage in one of the many gardens and courtyards, or popping into Marrakesh on the hotel’s free mini-bus service. There are a few bicycles available for the more energetic to explore the local area.
There are lots of activities to choose from such as horseback and camel rides.
There are mosques and museums to explore as well as the famous Jemaa el Fna square with its acrobats, dancers, and magicians.
Morocco’s cultural influences make for extremely diverse cuisine, and the resort delivers a true flavor of Morocco at every meal.
Meals and refreshments are served in the hotel bar and restaurant. Mint tea is particularly popular in Morocco, so make some time to enjoy a cup on the terraces or beside the pool.
The formal meals are prepared in the newly fitted kitchens by master chef Brahim, and they combine the best of Moroccan and French cuisine and are complemented by a judiciously selected and growing wine list. Fish comes fresh to the hotel from the Atlantic, and seasonal produce is delivered daily.
Until midnight, a wide selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks can be ordered from the bar.
All dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
