On the first day of the program, they will welcome you to their home base with a "healthy happy hour", fresh house-made Aguas frescos and guacamole and chips, plus a welcome dinner and opening circle.
Your daily schedule includes morning asana and guided meditation practice, Dharma talks, discussions, and hands-on experiential learning in a workshop format.
You will take a lunch break mid-day (you can order from many restaurants that offer delivery service, prepare your own lunch, or pre-order a lunch from our in-house chef). After lunch each day, you will take time for a restorative yoga session during which you "rest and digest" the learning of the day.
Afternoons include a daily "chai and chat" integrating yoga philosophy or other discussion topics and another workshop centered on creative and spiritual practices.
You will also make time for meditation and contemplation walks in the nearby plaza park which features a fountain and gardens.
Wednesdays are free for you to explore the town and enjoy the local hot springs on a less crowded day. Each Sunday is a day of rest and integration.
Sanadora Sanctuary is committed to creating experiential learning programs designed to share the power of yoga to enrich life on all levels. “Experiential” means you learn by doing, feeling, and integrating the principles into your practice and your life as a whole. They are proud to offer a yoga teacher training and 200-hour certification program that prepares teachers to live with a joyful heart connection, to teach with a deeply felt understanding of the true nature and potential of Yoga practice, and to dedicate their work to share the potential of yoga for life enrichment, personal growth, transformation, and wellness in Body, Emotions/Mind, and Spirit.
Sanadora’s International Yoga Teacher Training and Continuing Education modules share the experience and understanding of Heart Alignment yoga while emphasizing the benefits of yoga in physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. We aspire to give teachers the tools to practice these principles, first in their individual lives, and empower them to share the benefits with their students and clients.
