Akhilesh Bodhi’s Bio
Akhilesh Bodhi is the Founder and Yoga Teacher at Mahamukti Yoga. Akhilesh has deep understanding and extensive knowledge of Yoga practice which spans decades and developed his own inclusive method of Yoga. He carries a bequest of teaching traditional yoga and mixes it with modern ways of BKS Iyengar and K.Pattabhi Jois styles for the international yoga seekers. Fusion of Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha yoga and Raj yoga presents a holistic technique suited to the people across the world.
Akhilesh Bodhi has travelled all over the world to teach Yoga classes to millions of students and conducts regular yoga retreats and workshops at various countries like Austria, Turkey, Bali, Indonesia and other European / US countries. A staunch follower of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, he learnt Vedanta philosophy at Vedanta school, a yoga student of Sivanada Asharm in Kerala & Iyengar Institute in Pune. He has studied with Geeta Iyenagr and Prashant Iyengar and has also been trained with Ramananda Patel from San Francisco USA.
