Uma Bastola’s Bio

Uma comes from the Kaski District, she attended the Trekking Guide Training conducted by "Empowering Women of Nepal" in 2008, she has being working with Purna Yoga since 2011. Uma holds a Government Guide License and is a Central Committee Member of the Union of Trekking Guide, Rafting, Travel and Airline. Uma has undertaken technical rock and ice climbing training in Nepal. She has a vast experience of trekking in the Annapurna and Langtang regions and loves to trek and climb mountains.

In 2012 Uma has completed Yoga Pre-Teacher Training from Purna Yoga conducted by Nepalese and foreign teacher. In 2016 Uma has completed her MSc in Yoga Therapy from Svyasa Yoga University in Bangalore.
