Swami Sudhir Anand’s Bio

Swami Sudhir Pradhan is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance. He is the founder of Shiv Yoga Peeth a renowned Yoga Teacher Training Institute. Swami Sudhir was born in Orissa, a state in the south-east of India. After Graduating he left his home and travel all over India in search of the divine God and spirituality. His search bought him to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple in Rishikesh where he spent 3 years as a priest and continued his Sadhana, he then moved to Varanasi (Banaras) and sent 5 years there deepening his knowledge of different forms of Yoga and getting a Yoga Diploma from the Banaras Hindu University.

Swami Sudhir is known to have spent quite a lot of time in the jungles to deepen his sadhana and meditate. Once he achieved his sadhana he went on to gain his Yoga Masters from the world famous Kaivalyadham Institute, a pioneer in yoga training.

He is a true believer in the pure Yogic way of life and his mission is to spread yoga, spirituality, health & harmony, love, peace and stress free living all over the world.

He speaks ENGLISH,SANSKRIT, HINDI and ORIYA.
