Radha Rani’s Bio
The name Radha Rani, meaning the “queen of devotion”, was given to her by Yogrishi Vishvketu upon completion of her 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh. Radha Rani is co-founder of Shiva Shakti Yoga and Akhanda Yoga Australia. She came to yoga teaching after a successful acting career led her to move towards a more gentle life path. She leads Akhanda Yoga Teacher Trainings with Yogi Sadashiv in Australia. Her influences are Emma Henry of the Jivamukti method, Ananda yoga originating from the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda and her guru, Yogrishi Vishvketu. Her focus is on the meditative and bhakti (devotional) side of yoga and includes a great love of yogic philosophy. Radha also leads Kirtan, singing and playing the harmonium.
