Gurukul Yogashala offers one of the many amenities; an ashram stay in Rishikesh for those looking to be trained as yoga teachers. Yoga Alliance accredits the school, this training for yoga teachers. Those who have finished the 200 hour yoga teacher training from a Yoga Alliance-affiliated institute are eligible to enroll in the 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training program.
Our teaching staff ensures that yoga knowledge is generally applied spiritually, so we review each pupil's different needs and interests when developing lesson plans. Our curriculum incorporates studies of art of pranayama, shat kriya, asanas, yoga philosophy, yoga anatomy, relaxation (Yoga Nidra), and meditation.
Gurukul Yogashala School's advanced teacher training program is designed for students who have completed an approved 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training Course.
