AYM Yoga School, an RYS 200 & 300 registered yoga school, conducts 200 hour residential yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India, based on the traditional style of hatha yoga and Ashtanga. These courses are registered with Yoga Alliance, USA. 200 hour course is designed for beginners who have basic knowledge of yoga as well as for intermediate-level yoga students. After completing the course, you can register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT 200 yoga teacher.
The comprehensive course will familiarize you with the tenets of yoga philosophy and history and will help you intensify and master yoga asanas in tandem with their effect on anatomy. You will observe daily pranayama, meditation, and chanting to understand their strengthening and balancing properties. Bring an understanding of the yogic discipline, diet, and cleansing rituals, and you will be taught how to become a good yoga teacher.
