Water fasting is a method used to affect physiological processes in the body which is the most effective instrument which is harmonizing the work of the body generally. The duration of the program is not that important, it might be one day or one month. Duration of the program is based on the individual constitution of the participant according to Ayurvedic principles. So one person will have a powerful healing effect from long duration of the program and the other person will have the same effects from the short program of water fasting.

Here is a sample schedule but each schedule is designed individually depending on the individual needs of the guest.
Wake up with an adaptogen drink. Around mid-day, you will enjoy a coconut water drink and kidney support drink. In the evening time there will be cleansing procedures (not every day) and before sleep an herbal drink to support immunity.
Please note that food is provided on the preparatory and exit days.
Additionally, there are also Thai oil massage sessions, medical cups sessions, and nasal passages cleansing sessions.
Our professional yoga therapist designs the program individually according to the constitution, age, needs etc of the guest.
We combine water fasting with traditional yoga practices and cleansing techniques which ensures the process is going smoothly and efficiently.
The result is always exceeding expectations. It is possible to extend the program for up to 31 days.
Without going into the details of anatomical aspects of the efficiency of this method we can highlight the following benefits and effects of the program.
During the water fasting the body does not get a source of nutrition as it normally gets. The body switches on reserve methods of getting the energy. During passive water wasting firstly the muscles are used for the nutrition.
Weak, diseased, dead cells of the body (particularly cells of the blood) will be used as a source of nutrition of the body.
During the program, the participant is releasing mental attachments and overcoming the weaknesses which improve overall mental health.
During the program, the participant is involved in different yoga practices which also includes breathing exercises.
The water fasting program has three stages: entering period, fasting period, exit period. During the entering and exit stages, the special food is served to consume.
Efficiency and safety of the program are guaranteed if the participant completely follows the recommendations of the therapist.
During the course, healthy vegetarian food is provided. To experience the good effects of the yogic lifestyle, please do not bring meat from outside to eat. In a case student has any allergy or intolerance to any kind of food, please inform TAYSP so the diet will be adjusted accordingly.
