However, despite the rich history, natural beauty of the desert and mountains, the beauty, charm, and allure can also be found along Morocco's shores. Finally, Morocco is blessed with 1,200 miles of coastline spanning the Atlantic and Mediterranean Seas, along with warm weather all year round. Summer temperatures along the coast are between 25 and 28 degrees Celsius, just right for enjoying a yoga holiday.
We welcome all levels of experience to join us on this beautiful week-long journey through Morocco. During this retreat we will be on the road and touring some of our favorite places in Morocco, from the desert to the sea. This retreat invites you to take a break, slow down with daily yoga and meditation program as well as cultural experiences and explorations!
If you are in the mood for something very special, then this trip to Morocco is just right for you. The time out in the enchanting region of Morocco and the endless Sahara is a great opportunity to reflect on your life and be inspired for new things. From Marrakech we drive around the "High" Atlas directly into the Sahara. Yoga sessions, a visit to the nomads and a delicious picnic in the holy oasis await you. This will help center you and recharge you from within. Coaching strengthens you mentally, you determine the topic in a one-to-one discussion. Classic topics are self-confidence, goal setting or work-life balance. Whether on a beautiful roof terrace, in the warm sand on a dune at sunset or under a palm tree in the Sahara.
Day 1: Marrakech
The driver will meet you at the Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK) to then transfer you to the riad to rest and freshen up. From 3 to 6 p.m., a Moroccan chef will explain and you will cook together Moroccan traditional food. Dinner and accommodations in a riad inside the Medina.
Day 2: Marrakech - visit the Medina - Agadir
After breakfast your driver will meet you at the reception. Then, you start visiting the medina (old town) of Marrakech, at 11:30, you are going to start driving through the highway to Agadir. Take a stop on the way for lunch at one of the rest areas, then continue to the panoramic view of Agadir Ofelia. From here, it is a few minutes to the hotel. Yin yoga session, dinner, and accommodation will be at a beautiful charming guest house.
Day 3: Agadir - Massa Parc - Mirleft

You leave Agadir to head south, you make a stop at the Souss Massa National Park to explore the coastal wilderness and fantastic bird-watching opportunities. The park covers a coastal strip of 65 km long and 5 km wide.
The Massa lagoon is one of the important bird sanctuaries in Morocco and is home to flamingoes, bald ibises, sandgrouse, cranes, ducks, and many other residents and migratory birds. Lunch in the village of Massa. When you continue going south, notice the change of colors in the surrounding landscape. The earth becomes red, and the trees get lower, gradually turning into shrubs.
Within a couple of hours, you reach a small coastal village of Mirleft located 2 km inland from the ocean. Mirleft is a good place to relax, there is not a lot to do in the village, but there are a few things to do in the surrounding area. Although the place is popular with Moroccans during the summer, and with Europeans spending time here in winter, the area is still not touristy and nature has been preserved untouched.
Go to the large Mirleft beach to admire the views of the vast spaces of the ocean and the sunset, Yin yoga! Accommodations and dinner will be in a hotel.
Day 4: Mirleft - Legzira - Sidi Ifni - Mirleft

Leave Mirleft after breakfast. The picturesque road from Mirleft to Legzira and then further to Sidi Ifni goes through the mountains, then crosses the wide valleys. Legzira is only 10 km south of Mirleft on the rocky coast. It is famous for its huge red-orange colored arches carved by the ocean in coastal cliffs.
The place is still not particularly known to the general public, but well known among surfers and paragliders. Picnic at the beach or a café.
Sidi Ifni is a little coastal town with an interesting history and eclectic Moorish Art Deco architecture. It was the last Moroccan city surrendered by Spain in 1969. It was called Santa Cruz de la Mar Pequeña and was kept under Spanish control even after Moroccan independence in 1956. Spain resisted a series of Moroccan attacks to take the territory in the Ifni War of 1957-58. It eventually ended in 1969.
There is no special tourist infrastructure here, but you can walk in the old Spanish town and join your Yin yoga class. Dinner at a restaurant, accommodations as per the previous night.
Day 5: Mirleft - Oued Assaka - Plage Blanche - Geulmim - Mirleft
Today, you leave Mirleft early after breakfast to head south to the amazing wild Plage Blanche, you pass once more through Sidi Ifni to get to the river of Oued Assaka, here you trade the main road for a scenic off-road that goes along the beach.
You will make stops for great panoramic views along the road. Arrive at la Plage Blanche around lunchtime, you will help prepare your picnic. After lunch, have a long walk along the 48 km long beach, Nella-Yoga can also help organize a meditation session at the beach. In the afternoon, you start driving back to Mirleft via a different road that passes by the city of Guelmim to arrive in Mirleft early evening before dinner Yin yoga session and accommodation are at the same hotel.
Day 6: Mirleft - Tiznit - Agadir - Essaouira
08:00 - 09:00 Vinyasa Flow yoga
Leave Mirleft after breakfast. Stop by the city of Tiznit to visit its old Medina and see the silverwork the city is famous for. Squirt through Agadir one more time and drive along the coast all the way to Essaouira. Before dinner, the Yin yoga session and the accommodation are in a riad inside the Medina.
Day 7: Essaouira - Marrakech
08:00 - 09:00 Vinyasa Flow yoga and breakfast
Spend most of the morning exploring the whitewashed medina with its art galleries, cafes, and all-around pleasant atmosphere. Leave Essaouira after lunch to arrive in Marrakech for a spa treatment or some last-minute shopping. Dinner and accommodation will be in a riad inside the Medina.
Day 8: Marrakech airport
After breakfast, try to catch up with things you may have missed earlier in Marrakech. Your driver will be there to take you to the airport two hours before your flight. End of the tour.
