The Nuga House is a unique boutique hotel in the heart of Kabalana Beach - one of the most sought after surfing spots in all Sri Lanka. The Nuga House has been built around the Holy Nuga Tree, a beautiful creation of Mother Earth that encompasses the calming and empowering spirit of yoga, surfing, and wellbeing. All travelers that come to witness the vibrations of this place share a deep connection with Nature. Within the main Nuga House, there is a total of 6 rooms in different sizes, all facing the shiny pool, ideal for morning or late evening swims, under coconut trees, surrounded by sounds of the wild animals.

Nuga house holds a large and uniquely equipped rooftop yoga Shala, built around the branches of the holy Nuga tree.
It can accommodate up to 30 people at a time.
Being built on the first floor has amazing views of the tropical palm tree - providing amazing sunsets.
We are welcoming: Drop-in- daily classes, workshops, and retreats.

Surf
Please take notice the lessons are filmed and analyzed with the student. All of The Nuga House's surf guides are the best local surfers in the area and speak good English. All the surfboards that are needed in the lessons are provided by The Nuga House. The lessons last one hour and a half combining time outside and inside the water.
During this time, your surfboard use will be included. If you would like to rent equipment on the beach in your free time, you may do so by paying an extra cost (400 LKR per hour or 1,500 LKR per day). If you require a Western surf guide, this service is also offered for an additional cost. Western guides.
