We believe giving the body a break from daily life, eating only fruit and drinking delicous smooties, helps to bring about a more healthy and vibrant you.

During Detox, we will do a gentle somatic Yoga practice suitable for beginners and those recovering from injury and back problems plus enjoyable guided meditations as well as other meditation techniques to help support your healing and transition to a healthier lifestyle.

Our place is not a luxury retreat and our prices reflect this. We want to be able to offer everyone the opportunity to experience fasting and the health benefits it brings.
Accommodation is in private rooms or shared rooms. Shared twin rooms have 2 double beds or 2 single beds. Shared rooms are for 2 people of the same gender.
Fasting is not always a blissful experience, as you begin to detox you can experience physical as well as mental, emotional and spiritual issues.
We will be there to support you through this process and by the end of the fast, you will feel better for these days you have gifted to yourself.
The guest house has dogs and cats living in it and the yoga classes are held at our animal sanctuary 800m from the house. For some we are heaven and for others a nightmare, so please be true to yourself about whether you are happy to have dogs and cats around you, before booking with us just because we are cheaper than other retreats.
If you are not an animal-loving kind of person this probably isn't the retreat for you, if you fit the description, I am sure you will visit us more than once as many have done.
During the fast we take you on walks in the surrounding countryside, and you have plenty of free time to just generally destress and unwind.
The beginner's yoga classes are aimed at people who are detoxing, slow and gentle, sometimes we push a little more, but the classes are aimed at beginners, if you are more advanced you are welcome to do your own practice.
