What is Aerial yoga – This is a modern type of yoga. It is based on an ancient practice, “yoga kurunta”, also known as fly high yoga, anti-gravity or flying yoga and airo yoga, yoga trapeze, and more.
It is a creative, fun, alignment-based style of yoga that can also be used as an additional practice to support and enhance everyday asanas such as warriors. Practicing inversions with the belt becomes easier and safer by practicing aerial yoga.
Once the students become teachers, they will feel confident in teaching their first sequence of Aerial yoga, helping their students get in and out of the swing, and teaching the key foundation acro-play poses. This program is open to all those interested in deepening their understanding of Aerial yoga for their self-practice, as well as for those who wish to develop their yoga and their body strength as a teaching career.
At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion with the option for those who are already 200h Yoga Alliance teachers to register those hours as continuing education.
