The retreat series takes place in the CHEZ ZeN holistic retreat resort. The prerequisite for participation is a holistically appropriate, stable health situation.
Especially in the case of acute issues such as substance abuse, severe psychological impairments, and acute drug therapies, an informal, examining, and weighing discussion with the organizer regarding the requirements and suitability for participating in the retreat should be sought before booking. The participants and teachers have to put the dishes, glasses, and cutlery in the dishwasher and put them back in the cupboards after meals during the retreat. The buffet dishes, on the other hand, are cleaned and put away by the kitchen team.
Especially in the winter months, the retreat participants must ensure that the floors of the community areas are swept regularly, because this is caused by the various outdoor activities (yoga terrace, forest bathing, sauna, walks, etc.) and, if necessary, by using the fireplace, brought in a lot of dirt by participating children or pets. The cleaning and disinfection of all surfaces, including fresh bed linen and towels, by the team takes place before and after the retreat. The wood-fired outdoor sauna is cleaned and disinfected by the team after each use.
Candles and incense sticks are only allowed under supervision in the large practice room and the dining area, but not in any other area of the center. Furthermore, only the large fireplace in the practice room may be used under supervision. Campfire and brasero operations are only possible with supervision and must be coordinated with the team on-site in advance. Fire protection must be observed in the buildings. The respective group should also ensure that the outside lighting is switched off at night.
The household waste in the buffet kitchen must be disposed of regularly by the group in the containers provided for this purpose, the organic compost waste should be disposed of in the forest. The retreat group that is currently using the center bears a basic responsibility and a duty of care in dealing with the very high-quality premises and equipment provided. Any property damage must be reported to the retreat management immediately.
