Day 1
PL Shamanic Journeys is an Ayahuasca focused retreat center. Here, the ancient wisdom of Amazonian traditions blends with a modern understanding of integration under the guidance of Peruvian shamans, Western specialists, and trauma-informed facilitators.
APL Shamanic Journeys gives back to the Amazonian rainforest and its people to honor the source and the tradition of healing.
Traditional ceremonies
APL Shamanic Journeys honors the sacred heritage of Amazonian shamanism by collaborating with indigenous master shamans who conduct ceremonies in the same tradition as their ancestors, guaranteeing an authentic experience.
Red Cross-certified
The facilitators are certified by the Red Cross for first aid to ensure the safest and the most fulfilling experience possible.
Supported by specialists
APL Shamanic Journeys prioritizes trauma-informed care by working closely with experienced integration specialists on-site. This collaborative approach ensures that they provide a safe and nurturing environment for deep healing and personal transformation.
Sound of the ceremony
Icaros are sacred songs that Amazonian healers learn directly from Teacher-Plants while practicing diet as in the Rainforest. These songs are the tool to connect participants with Amazonian Spirits and their energies.
Ceremonial setting
The ceremonies are guided by traditional Peruvian curanderos who follow the old ways of working with master plants. That is why the ceremonies are quite strict with an emphasis on your personal and undisturbed connection with ayahuasca.
The shaman will be navigating your experience by singing icaros (sacred songs) throughout the whole ceremony without the use of non traditional musical instruments. During the ceremony, it is restricted for participants to communicate with each other verbally as well as have any physical contact.
This traditional approach with deep respect for the ceremony ensures that every participant can create a unique relationship with ayahuasca and concentrate on self-introspection.
About the retreat
The team offers creative and special cuisine using products of the highest quality with local, organic, or seasonal fruit and vegetables. The menu can be served due to your dieting restrictions.
