Yoga means UNION. It includes much more than physical postures, meditation, and breathing techniques.
Yoga is about re-unifying body and mind, movement and awareness, inner presence and breath, frame and freedom... And beyond the practice, as complete as it may be, yoga is a whole conscious living attitude.
We will take good care of our physical body, offering it a nice opportunity to detox and to include new healthy habits in our daily life, but also we’ll give our whole self the marvelous present of being present.
Yoga Foundations is a perfect format for beginners. It will focus on improving your basic understanding of yoga and building a safe and sustainable practice.
The classes decompose many of the common poses in yoga as well as help you to find your alignment, balance, strength and energetic flows.
The teacher will assist you in modifying your postures to enable you to achieve a better technique.
The food at our yoga retreats is comprised of only the freshest, seasonal local produce. As you will discover, the fruit and vegetables in this region are second to none.
We grow plenty of ingredients in our organic vegetable patch and on our many fruit trees. Some of the fruit we have growing freely on-site include lemons, oranges, almonds, pomegranates, and carob - to name a few!
Otherwise, we go to the nearby town to buy from the local markets and farmers, many of whom we are on a first-name basis! We also organize trips to the local markets with guests on our yoga retreats, so you can see first hand where your food comes from if you choose.
Healthy vegetarian/vegan food
We run a vegetarian kitchen, and we can cater to special dietary needs - please let us know when you book. All meals are included in the price, and alcohol is available at a small extra charge. There’s also an all-day snack bar (not included in the price)
