Our annual Greek Island retreat with Krissy Jones (founder of Sky Ting Yoga), Anton Brandt (Fig Founder), and chef Lauren Gerrie. Space is limited to 20 students. For many of us, our day-to-day reality is a demanding job + daily social obligations. Tech that was designed to simplify our lives has in some ways made our lives more complicated. Our culture tells us that being 'busy' is a good thing… it means we're in demand + successful. Whether we see this busy-ness as self-imposed or not, it’s hard to align ourselves with the person we want to be. When was the last time you felt fully recharged? When was the last time you had the space to dedicate to the things that you truly find important? This retreat is designed to re-align & re-calibrate. To step away from our day-to-day dramas, and get a greater perspective on ourselves, our goals, our desires, & our friendships. We've thoughtfully curated the entire week for you. At this Greek Island retreat - expect afternoon naps on the stone terraces, and sunset swims in the Aegean. Expect gorgeous meals prepared by our favorite chef, and world-class yoga asana. Expect to create new bonds, share surprising conversations & laughter... and still find plenty of time for self-reflection.

We're heading to Koufonisi, the smallest of the Cycladic islands, with 400 inhabitants. Welcome to the Cyclades of years past.
Koufounisi is the Greek Island you've been dreaming of. It's teeny tiny, you can walk from one side to the other, with the scent of wild figs along the way. The Aegean sea is met rugged, sun-drenched outcrops of rock, framing hidden rocky coves, perfect for an afternoon dip. and then of course there's that stunning white-washed Cycladic architecture. Set in the Aegean Sea, the Cyclades are a group of the most well-known Greek Islands (including Mykonos and Santorini) and they're well-known for a reason. Pristine water, stunning architecture, fabulous food, and of course that unparalleled Greek lifestyle. But those more famous islands, like Santorini, have evolved into cruise-liner destinations and Instagram-versions of themselves. Koufonisi is a secret of the Cyclades, a sanctuary. There's no airport on the island, and the most fun way to get from one side of the island to another is to hop on a colorful local ferry/taxi boat, playing traditional Greek music… it's a thing! Here it's all about the slow tempo of the Mediterranean lifestyle: hidden beaches, and long lunches at seaside family-run tavernas. Our property is comprised of two newly restored homes with a gorgeous yoga shala, situated in a tranquil spot on the northeast side of the island, 7 minutes walk from Pori, on of the most beautiful beaches in the Aegean.
Our meals will be catered by the best restaurant on Koufonisi Island. There will be 3 gourmet meals per day.
From one of the most ancient civilizations on earth comes simply prepared food that uses the best of what’s in season. Adding a little magic in the form of clever flavorings. Greece’s culinary tradition dates back hundreds of years and has evolved over time to absorb many diverse influences.
Greek food is simple, colorful, and incredibly nutritious. In addition, Greek food has a reputation for being heart-healthy. This is because it uses olive oil, fish, lean meats, vegetables, herbs, and grain. One example is the classic moussaka – a hearty dish made of layers of lamb and eggplant, smothered in béchamel sauce and cheese.
Here’s a little-known fact: Greek cuisine is very “plant-forward” by nature and many traditional dishes have been vegan for centuries. Indeed, the original Mediterranean diet studied in Crete was made up of these classic Greek meals that put the focus on fresh vegetables, legumes, and lots of olive oil.
OMG, if you consider yourself a foodie, you are going to be in heaven! Greek food will definitely excite and delight you.
