Retreat schedule:-
From June 6th till July 31st, the schedule includes daily morning Mysore practice (Monday to Saturday), weekly led classes and weekly (twice per week) chanting and pranayama workshops as well as a welcoming space for reflection and silent meditation on the other days of the week.
Due to the nature of ashtanga practice we do not offer drop-ins for this course, but we recommend you to commit for at least one week of practice.
You can choose between just morning mysore, or decide to join morning mysore and afternoon sessions unlimited. You can start at any day of the week, however, we recommend you start on Monday. Sundays are days off from practice and a good arrival day to the retreat.
The Retreat Centre:-
Our Tenerife location is the creation of Denis Devaris, a Swiss architect who came to Tenerife 44 years ago. Denis envisioned a retreat where like minded people could exchange experiences and ideas through workshops and seminars. Today it has evolved into an ecological retreat center.
Situated only 15 mins from the coastline, the center is open to all those who are looking for peace, nature, and good weather. The peaceful retreat center features a beautiful garden, comfortable living areas and relaxing therapy rooms. It's been designed using a blend of ecological principles and creative architecture with simple, cozy comfort and natural wellbeing.
From day one of its opening, the aim has been to create a supportive environment for the development of a spiritual awakening. The essence of the center is based on the absence of dogmatism and sectarianism, and the respect of personal freedom, individuality and integrity of each person.
You can reserve your place on a yoga course by making a payment to Yoga Journey Ltd equal to 50% of the cost of the course. All deposit payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. The balance payment is due no later than 4 weeks before the first day of your yoga course. We will not send a reminder email. If we do not receive your balance payment, your place may be given to another student.
