After living in a school of meditation for many years we created Shamballah to provide a supportive and focused environment for practicing meditation and deepening your understanding of the practice. We created a structure that promotes wellbeing. There is plenty of free time to explore the surrounding Nature and to enjoy the many other activities available or simply relax. A meditation retreat can be a powerful and transformative experience. We believe that consciousness starts with the body, the asanas (yoga postures) help to prepare the body and mind for meditation.
Meditation Practices
We will share many different meditation techniques and breathing exercises in our meditation retreats. Some that help to cultivate a sense of calm and relaxation. Others that can help to improve focus and clarity of thought, which can be beneficial in both personal and professional life. These are valuable tools that everyone can learn. Even though they can be simple, if we practice them frequently we can experience many benefits.
