Experience Overview
Prana in Sanskrit is described as the breath of life. On this retreat not only will you learn other aspects of yoga to help you deal with stress, but will also focus on pranayama or breath control. Ancient yogis knew that when you're stressed, your breath moves out of your control. They devised techniques that became known as pranayama or breath control. By doing so, they learned to calm the body and the mind, effectively bringing stillness to the mind. In this retreat, they will teach pranayama techniques to you to help you learn to deal with life's stresses. They will also teach you meditation, asana practice, and other aspects of yoga to help you live a more calm daily life.
