Our name, ‘Sampoorna yoga’, truly reflects what we aim to bring to our yoga students through our teachings. This theme of totality and wholeness is carried through in the teachings we provide, the respect we have for yoga traditions and the acceptance of students from all traditions and lineages. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional and comprehensive yoga teacher training and classes to support you on your yoga journey. The primary focus of this course will be on sequencing Vinyasa Flow style yoga classes. Major attention will be given to the principles, technical aspects, and structural components of a Vinyasa Flow class. Much of your time will be spent on expanding your knowledge of asanas while paying attention to the key alignments and anatomical structures in order to deepen your own practice as well as learning how to teach others safely. In addition, you will gain in-depth knowledge of pranayama, meditation and philosophy. This course is intended to carry you further along your journey as a yoga teacher and prepare you for a more advanced personal and professional investigation into the transformative power of yoga. We are unorthodox and open in our approach towards teaching yoga, we strongly encourage you to bring your own creativity, intuitions and spiritual experiences into your teaching styles.
Asana Class: 6.30-8.00 am & 8.30-10.00 am (You have two options, you can chose which one you like)
Meditation class: 8.15-9.00 am (optional)
Breakfast: 9.00-10.30 am
Lunch: 1.00-2.00 pm
Dinner: 7.00-8.00 pm
*No dinner on Saturday night, no lunch on Sundays.
Sampoorna Yoga is the perfect place to come and enjoy a good yoga holiday. Located, in India’s most beautiful and non-touristy beach, Agonda is the perfect beach to unwind, sunbathe, swim and meditate, and with its west facing shores you can also experience some of the most extraordinarily beautiful tropical sunsets the sub-continent has to offer!
Yoga & Meditation:
You will have access to two yoga classes per day of your choice. You can simply join our drop-in classes or the classes in the ongoing TTCs. If you are someone who likes to meditate then you will also have the option to join the daily pranayama and meditation classes at 6.30 am along with the YTTC students.
Our morning asana classes are mostly 90-minute intermediate level Vinyasa flow or Ashtanga fusion and the afternoon classes are 75-minute gentle Vinyasa or Hatha yoga.
Meditation classes are a combination of yogic breathing exercises and guided traditional meditation techniques led by our highly experienced Indian yoga teachers.
Traditional SPA:
We have an Onsight traditional massage centre where you can treat yourself with traditional ayurvedic or deep tissue massages or facial, pedicure or manicure etc.

Surfing, Surf Lessons and Kayaking:
Agonda does offer some beginner level surf waves. If you are lucky you can find some bigger waves too on somedays. There are a couple of surf shops where you can rent a surf board easily for less than $8 for a couple of hours. If you are absolutely new to surfing then you can also take surfing classes with some of the surf coaches. There are plenty of Kayaks available for rent throughout the season.
Apart from three vegetarian delicious healthy meals you will have access to free coffee, herbal tea and filtered water throughout the day. All the meals are pure vegetarian with dairy, vegan as well as gluten free options. If you have any other food allergy, we should still be able to help you out. All the meals are served buffet and are unlimited.
