Sister Eleni( Sr Tu Nghiem) from New Hamlet, Plum Village and Sr Hac Nghiem from the Lower Hamlet of Plum Village will come to offer us a Mindfulness Retreat in the Plum Village Tradition established by their Master, the Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh more than 40 years ago. The retreat will offer mindfulness practices such as Sitting meditation Walking meditation, eating meals together in Mindfulness, sharing circles, Deep Relaxation, the Ten Mindfulness Movements and the beautiful Tea Meditation created by Thay to reflect the graceful Vietnamese culture and the practices of sharing insights, appreciations, and music, dance and song as the retreatants wish.

Thich Nhat Hanh, wise and compassionate Zen master, urged us to live every moment of our life in a conscious way, in direct experience to all events of our life. To be fully alive, in a direct intimate relationship with all that shows up.

The retreat will offer mindfulness practices such as Sitting meditation Walking meditation, eating meals together in Mindfulness, sharing circles, Deep Relaxation, the Ten Mindfulness Movements and the beautiful Tea Meditation created by Thay to reflect the graceful Vietnamese culture and the practices of sharing insights, appreciations, and music, dance and song as the retreatants wish.
The corporal exercises of the 10 Mindfulness Movements that Thay created and did himself and led the community in doing them will be led by the Sisters every day. The Theme of the retreat is "Living with Understanding and Peace" and teachings of the Five Mindfulness Guidelines for daily living in peace (The Five Mindfulness Trainings) will be presented as well as other teachings. If there is a request for the Transmission of the Five Mindfulness Trainings this can be arranged at the end of the Retreat. It will be an optional activity for the retreatants but an opportunity for those who wish to receive them.

Should a booking be cancelled, cancellation fees will apply. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation and have responded having acknowledged the cancellation. If you cancel your retreat:
14 days or more prior to the retreat start date, Zen Rocks will retain the non-refundable deposit.
14 days or less prior to the retreat date, Zen Rocks will retain 100% of the amount paid in connection with the booking.
In the event that a refund is warranted, as an exception and subject to acceptance by Zen Rocks, the amount of the deemed refund will be returned minus bank charges and/or PayPal transaction fees, plus a 50€ Zen Rocks handling fee.
If you fail to join the retreat, arrive after the commencement of the retreat, or leave the retreat prior to its completion, no deduction to the price or refund will be made.
In the event Zen Rocks needs to cancel a retreat due to circumstances within our control, a full refund will be given minus the banking fees, or a retreat voucher for future use. If we need to cancel for the safety of our guests, due to circumstances beyond our control, such as but not limited to acts of God, war, threat of war, closure of airports, civil strife, natural disasters, fire, no refund will be given.
