A holistic approach to the journey through perimenopause and menopause and the rest of your life. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the time of life when a woman enters menopause is known as “ The Second Spring”, a truly beautiful way to describe what is seen as a positive stage in life, not a decline, but a celebration of newfound freedom and possibilities, ready to blossom into the rest of her life. Modern living is now more stressful for a woman in her mid-years, perhaps far more demanding in many different t ways than for past generations of females. Choosing to bear children later in life she may be still raising a family, holding down a demanding job at the peak of her career plus possibly caring for elderly parents or relatives. So during this special time of a women's life, it is more important than ever to take care of and listen to your body's needs.
