Over a span of 2 months, you have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the profound meditation technique of Yoga Nidra. During this transformative experience, your body gracefully reclines, inviting your consciousness to explore new dimensions of timelessness, expansion, and awareness. Teaching and experiencing this ancient practice can open the heart and mind to a deeper understanding of relaxation and the boundless expanse of consciousness.
This training goes beyond merely acquiring a new meditation technique; it is an exploration and expansion of your inborn potential — an invitation to be authentically yourself and step into your unique light.
In this comprehensive training, the focus is on the first three layers of the body: Annamaya Kosha (physical body), Pranamaya Kosha (energy body), and Manomaya Kosha (emotional/mental body). Yoga Nidra, when combined with the intentional setting of a Sankalpa (an intention), becomes a powerful tool. The course introduces and develops the art of crafting and working with a Sankalpa.
During this 30-hour immersion, you will delve into the foundational teachings of the practice, explore various styles, and study sacred texts. Traditional Yoga Nidra techniques, including those of the Himalayan Masters and Bihar School, are covered. Additionally, you will be introduced to other styles such as IAM Yoga Nidra, iRest, Clear Light, and Shamanic Yoga Nidra practices. A significant aspect of the training involves closely working with a Sankalpa, which evolves and transforms throughout the shared time. The curriculum also includes the study of the neurological science behind Yoga Nidra, the influence of the Koshas on the practice (5 bodies), and the health benefits of Yoga Nidra on the nervous system. Upon completion, you will leave with four unique sample Yoga Nidra scripts, including one crafted by yourself during the process.
