Our 300 hour Advanced Vinyasa TTC is curated to give you all the knowledge, skills and confidence to enhance and augment your yoga practice and teaching. The focus is on Vinyasa style and also to deepen the understanding on applied anatomy, alignment and adjustments. The course is designed in a way to help see yourself as a confident senior yoga teacher. Pranayama, meditation and applied philosophy are integrated into the course. This course is based on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. Apart from the rigorous asana practice, we emphasize on the other limbs - Yamas, Niyamas, Pranayama and Meditation also. The course curriculum is comprehensive which includes Yoga philosophy, Yogic lifestyle and Ethics, Yogic diet, Anatomy and Physiology for yoga practitioners. Our school is rooted in traditional teaching of yoga that can be applied to present times and challenges. We encourage you to explore and be creative in your teaching style. At the end of the course you will be ready to sequence your own Vinyasa flow with various themes and also practice and teach the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series. You will be exposed to the practice of Yin and Restorative yoga.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
ASANA SECTION
ANATOMY
Anatomy classes will help you to refresh your knowledge and understand the key muscles, bones used in asana practice associated with health benefits and contraindications. Muscular and skeletal anatomy is given emphasis to understand in depth the limitations and differences. The anatomy class is closely knit and designed specifically for alignment classes.
PRE READING
You will be given a list of books and yoga related DVDs to read and watch before coming to the course. These will be counted as non-contact hours. You will receive this list along with the enrolment instructions upon acceptance of your place. You should endeavor to complete this reading before your course begins.
ALIGNMENT & ADJUSTMENTS
TEACHING SKILLS AND SEQUENCING
This is covered in 6 modules as below:
Module 1 : To understand the structure of a class and the fundamentals for a good yoga teacher.
Module 2 : Basic guidelines and principles of Alignment and Adjustments. Understanding different types of adjustments possible (active/passive/resistance/partner) and developing a deeper sense of touch, pressure, and body weight relative to receiving and giving adjustments.
Module 3 : Insights on how to maintain and 'hold space' while teaching different audiences and in different spaces/locations.
Module 4 : Art of Sequencing and Creating Flows
Module 5 : Preparation for Deeper Arm Balances and Inversions

PHILOSOPHY
The Yoga Philosophy section covers the following topics and in addition covers application of Philosophy in asana practice and daily life. There will be a number of interactive sessions to understand complex philosophical concepts.
Emotional Empowerment and Emotional Self-sufficiency through applied Yoga Philosophy
BUSINESS OF YOGA
In this class, your teachers will guide you through how to develop your career as a yoga teacher setting up your own studio, school or a yoga retreat centre, marketing strategies, advertising and PR, ethics in yoga business, building network with other yoga teachers, schools, studios and retreats, among other related topics.
PRE-REQUISITES
You are eligible to apply if you hold a 200 hour YTTC in any style of yoga from any YA registered yoga school. It is suggested that you must have a minimum 50 hours of teaching experience or practicing yoga for at least one year, to be able to gain the most from this course
CERTIFICATION
You will receive a 300-hour certificate eligible to be registered with Yoga Alliance US as RYT-300 or RYT 500 over a 200-hr certificate recognised from Yoga Alliance US.
