On the next day we will put our hiking boots on and hike in this unknown mountains hidden at the heart of Europe. And we will harken to the stories of their mountain chalets. Especially the Zbojnícka Chalet, located in the Great Cold Valley, which is surrounded by numerous majestic peaks. Do you know that the Slovak mountain chalets are still supplied by mountain sherpas? They still carry large loads of up to 100kg up and down rugged and dangerous mountain trails using skis, crampons and chains. The Europe’s last sherpas. And we will meet them!

The sumptuous half-board is included. Start your day on Crete with a colorful, imperial breakfast. After all, you need the energy to master your training sessions, hikes, or a long day on the beach! Breakfast includes local yogurt and honey, muesli and granola, nuts, fresh summer fruit, and vegetables, boiled and scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, and sweet homemade cakes as well as various types of warm bread, pastries and croissants, all freshly baked. A large selection of cheeses, jams, and cold cuts are also part of the culinary offer. Drinks such as milk, tea, juices, and filter coffee are available in unlimited quantities throughout the breakfast period.
In addition to the selection of internationally popular morning favorites, you will also find traditional Cretan delicacies prepared with selected, locally sourced, and seasonal ingredients. Chalara restaurant, located in a restored Venetian-era building and the beautiful garden under the lemon trees, brings you in touch with the best Cretan delicacies. Your fabulous dinner will consist of three courses. All meals are carefully prepared with local, seasonal produce and served in a modern way in a unique setting where the summer shadows that fall through the glass roof play with the fine architectural lines of the old Venetian stonework.
Only the highest quality extra virgin olive oil from the hotel's own olive groves is used for all dishes. The hotel restaurant has a fantastic wine cellar with the best Cretan wines.
