In Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga the practitioner learns a series of Asanas (poses) which they will practice at their own pace, creating a moving meditation. They will receive adjustments and personalized suggestions from the teacher. The Ashtanga practice is based on the 8 limbs of Yoga, these are guidelines that will lead the practitioners through the practice- allowing them to dive deeply and learn their bodies and their true selves. These limbs can be seen as tools that will help to fully experience the essence of Yoga.
