This course is open to everyone! You will need to have a basic understanding of yoga asanas (see pre-requisites). You can join with an aim to teach in the future *, or simply as a fun 3 day retreat to get away from it all and do something wonderful for yourself. A super-fun 3 days, packed with theory and practical information, sharing lots of tips and skills with you from my many years of teaching Yoga and SUP Yoga.

UP Yoga & SUP Fitness is so much easier than you think, and is for all levels from total beginner to advanced. The boards are really stable and the feeling of stretching on the ocean will blow you away! Classes are held at stunning Kefalos Bay.
Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga & Fitness is ideal for all levels from complete beginners and beyond. You will get a full body gentle stretching workout, with the added benefit of calming the mind as well as creating greater flexibility, strength and staying power. The boards are really big, big enough to perform the poses on with ease, and you will see immediately that you do not have to worry about falling in. Every individual I have taught has LOVED it and people are genuinely surprised at how easy and comfortable it is.
A SUP YOGA & SUP FITNESS session will leave you feeling open, balanced and calm. It is a non-competitive sport where the focus is on the mind and the body. There is no judgement and no pressure in my classes – so just relax and enjoy!
Even though the boards are really stable, added focus is required during a Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga & Fitness class. Making sure the body is correctly aligned in the poses will help with balance, and in turn will help you to understand the nature of the poses even more. The added bonus of this is that you are automatically rooted in the present moment … and not thinking about the past or wondering about the future … which we all know is a real waste of time!
Practising on the water is a whole new sensation … one of being connected to the nature and feeling peaceful and tranquil. At the same time it´s really a lot of fun … and if you fall it really doesn´t matter! It´s a soft landing and the water in Kefalos Bay is beautiful and crystal clear and warm … in fact most people take a dip now and then during the lessons because it´s just too hard to resist!
Savasana/Relaxation at the end of the class is so special … feeling yourself gently drifting on the ocean under the warm sun is dreamy stuff. Don´t worry the boards are secured so you won´t actually drift out to sea! I´ve got you!

If you cannot attend a class that you have booked, please cancel giving a minimum of 24 hours´ notice. If you do not cancel within this timeframe, or if you are a no-show, you will still be charged full price for the session. Please note that all of my private sessions are tailor-made and require planning time so that I can deliver individually catered programs specifically for you and your needs. With the summer season beginning there is a much higher demand for my yoga sessions. Be good to others, if you can´t make a class cancel in good time so that another may have an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of yoga.
