Through a variety of poses, and conscious sequencing, om’s classes and workshops will build strength, flexibility, and balance through stability, as well as provide the space to discover the truth in transition, and the sense of lightness you're looking for in your practice.
Morning practice starts at 7 am
Yoga kriya & Pranayama - 7 to 8 am
Yogasana practice Hatha Yoga - 8 to 10 am
Breakfast break - 10 to 10:30 am
Restorative Yoga (iyengar style) - 10:30 am to 12 pm
Break - 12 to 3 pm
Theory with one break - 3 to 6 pm
The yoga style of BKS Iyengar is very useful to make your body in a good alignment. Long time holding in to the asana with props helps you to relax and make your joints and muscles stress free. It's best as a rejuvenation and restoration. It also helps in all ailments, it's best for any disease. Iyengar yoga will be from Monday to Friday only.
DESCRIPTION
The YTTC course presents a foundation in yoga principals with a strong emphasis on the Traditional HATHA yoga and Iyengar yoga. Trainees are expected to maintain a daily yoga practice during their training.

The course will provide a full manual which will match the modules set out in this syllabus. A reading list will be provided upon the start of the course and students are expected to purchase these themselves from the Yoga Alliance Professionals shop, where they will get a 40% discount.
PREREQUISITES
Practitioners are expected to have a minimum of 2 years of strong yoga practice before they can be accepted onto a teacher training course. It is also helpful for practitioners to have a basic understanding of the philosophy of yoga in general and specifically the style of yoga that they wish to pursue. This should include the importance of diet and the various arms of yoga, albeit they may not have a deep knowledge of this when they enroll onto the course. The 200 hour course is very much a foundation course and there is a lot of information to get through, so by having some fundamental understanding and a strong practice means that the pace of the course is not held up by individuals’ lack of knowledge on the subjects.
Successful applicants should be in good health and have stable personal circumstances to complete this course with the focus and dedication it requires.
EVALUATION PROCEDURE and GRADING CRITERIA
Essays - 2 essays based on history of yoga & philosophy
Multiple worksheets - based on asanas, pranayama, meditation, anatomy and teaching methodology
Observational class assessment - trainee will be assessed on them teaching a led class, including adjustments
COURSE SCHEDULE
The course consists of 30 tuition days normally through 6 modules.
ATTENDANCE
Trainees should attend a minimum of 90% of the course. Should trainees miss more than this minimum, they will need to agree with the teacher on which modules to re-take. The school reserves the right to charge additional fees for these catch up modules.
ACCREDITATION
This training school has met the stringent requirements set by Yoga Alliance Professionals, demonstrating that the course is of the highest standard and that our graduates may use the title ‘Registered Yoga Teacher’ RYT as a sign of quality training when they register themselves with Yoga Alliance Professionals.’
