Balu Ashtanga Yoga Shala is situated in Arambol, Goa – India, and run by Balu Thevar. The Shala offers a daily routine of Mysore style Class, Led Class and Special Classes designed to deepen the practice. Balu's much appreciated Backbending, Vinyasa and Hip-opening classes give the students a great opportunity to work in these special areas and improve their regular practice. Karma Yoga means selfless service to others. The traditional scriptures speak of yoga as an act of serving. In the modern days the whole concept of teaching Yoga has changed. For me Karma Yoga is still an essential part of the practice with serving as the purpose of this life. That’s why I share every Friday earnings to help others.
