Traditional Practice
To practice a particular pose in its deep, one needs to know the intelligent way of using the muscles, the appropriate way of breathing, the meditative state of the mind and the spiritually rooted soul. The practise of postures is a moving meditation.
In the session “Asana Clinic” we try to explore the concepts on which a particular posture is developed, how it can be practiced on a deeper level, and the benefits and contraindications.
We also discuss the usage of props, the balance between strength and flexibility and so on.
Yogic Indian Food is served during the Yoga Teacher Training that is suitable for the Yoga practice of our students that also help in detoxifying the body for yogic practices. Besides nutritional value, we love to give a glimpse of the local food taste of Mysore.
We don’t offer meat, fish, and eggs, which are considered stimulating/lethargic for yogic practices. The yogic food is seasoned with mild spices, which are part of the Ayurvedic diet.
All food is prepared with filtered water in our clean and spacious kitchen, where we give utmost importance to the hygiene of all the food items and cooks.
Students with a preference for Vegan and Gluten-free diets can comfortably manage here. You will have Brown Bread, Muesli, and Cornflakes with Fruits for Breakfast, while lunch and Dinner include Salads, Vegetables, Lentils, Beans, Rice, and Wheat items, Soups and Desserts on occasion.
We design the menu to calm down the body-mind while you are undergoing detoxification during the intensive practice/course, which generates a lot more heat in the body and mind, and is beneficial to the intense Yoga practice.
All foods are served Buffet-style, and you can take as much as you want.
If the student is unable to participate in the training, the fee can be transferrable to a future course under exceptional circumstances. One can transfer the paid amount to any future course, not necessarily the same style for which the initial deposit was made. For Ex. If the registration fee was paid for an Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training, and the student decides to take the vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in the future, it is completely acceptable. However, the transfer of the registration is not possible (and no refund as well) if the transfer of registration is requested within the last 30 days before the training begins. The transfer of the registration to a future course is possible and this costs an additional 10% of the registration fee + taxes - Transfer Fee The early bird discounts if availed for the first registration, and now if you are transferring the registration to a course to which the early bird does not apply, in this case, the second part is applicable.
In the unlikely event that a Yoga Teacher Training, workshop or retreat is cancelled by Samyak Yoga, then 100% of the payment will be refunded, or an alternative retreat or training placement will be offered according to the circumstances. This does not include the cancellation of the training due to external circumstances such as conflicts between the countries, pandemics, bans on travel by a specific country etc. Where a trainee cancels the registration for any reason at least 60 days before the day of the training begins, both the registration fee & course fee is refundable after the deduction of 10% as cancellation charges + taxes.
