Sitaram Beach Retreat Ayurvedic Resort Kerala is a NABH accredited Ayurvedic retreat by the beach. This hundred year old retreat is located on the shores of the Arabian sea in Thrissur, Kerala. The retreat believes in setting out an individual onto the Ayurvedic way of life instead of just focusing on the Ayurveda treatments. The insides become the outside, and the outside becomes the inside. These cottages come in three different formats. One can go for a luxury stone cottage built around 421 sq. ft. These luxury stone cottages come furnished with wooden furniture and have an open to the sky shower area. The guests can also select luxury wooden cottages that are less spacious than stone cottages but come with all modern amenities. Lastly, one can also consider staying at their wooden villa that is spread across an area of 400 sq. ft.
Sitaram Beach Retreat Ayurvedic Resort Kerala was started in 1921 by Sitaram after obtaining blessings from HH Kochi Maharaja Rama Varma Kunjikkidavu Thampuran and Parukutty Nethyar Amma. The name of the retreat is based on Punkunnam Sitramaswamy Temple; and is an homage to the various qualities Lord Rama and Goddess Sita embody.
