There’s nothing better than relaxing your body and mind and going home rejuvenated. Be yourself in a relaxed, calm, and inspiring environment. The weeks are tailored for you to relax and recharge. You will be pampered and, at the same time, still maintain your privacy. Whatever you desire, everything is possible! The beautiful beaches of Kos, a wonderful massage, and the various possibilities for hiking, cycling, and swimming in the sea or the large pool will make your vacation complete.
You're very welcome to join, whether you have never done yoga before or you are a regular practitioner. The classes are tailored to individual needs. The maximum number of participants in the group is 17.
Yoga sessions in the mornings are a more active Hatha class, while the late afternoon sessions are a relaxing Yin session. On arrival days, there is a practice in the late afternoon followed by dinner and on departure days, there is a practice in the morning before breakfast.
Every morning they prepare a delicious fresh juice for you. You can make your own breakfast bowl with plant-based yogurt, tasty granola, various types of nuts and seeds, dried fruit, and fresh fruit salad. There is oatmeal, freshly baked bread, jam, and other toppings for your breakfast sandwich. You can squeeze your own fresh orange juice, try different herbal teas and they'll be happy to make you a freshly ground coffee.
In the evenings, they serve a delicious plant-based Greek-style dinner, prepared on-site by their chef. Everything is fresh and they prefer to use local products. At dinner, it's 'bring your own booze'. Always nice to taste newly discovered Greek wines.
One evening after dinner, you will go to Therma, the natural hot springs. While the sun goes down and the stars come out, it is wonderful to float in the warm water. The sunset meditation at Hippocrates Altis, where you will take you for the last evening together, will be very special. It is close to Asklepion, the sacred place of Hippocrates, father of Medicine who was born in Kos. The unique atmosphere makes this meditation an unforgettable experience.
During this week, there will be seven yoga sessions. Always wanted to try a SUP session? Yoga on Kos will take you stand-up paddleboarding; it will be a lot of fun with the benefit of a full-body workout. Some good laughs are guaranteed. The ancient Greeks used wine both as food and as medicine so why not try some of the most delicious Koan wines at a family-run winery you will visit?
How does soaking up the sunshine, swimming, and snorkeling sound? You will go on a boat trip and visit some wonderful islands in the Aegean Sea. On the way, there is a swim break to dive into the turquoise blue water and a rich Greek lunch on board. All activities are optional. You may also take extra remaining days. You will have all the time to do what you like: relax, go to the beach, have coffee in town, or chill at the pool.
Every morning, Yoga on Kos will prepare a fresh fruit or vegetable wake-up juice for you, and a rich and healthy plant-based breakfast will be served in the garden. They are happy to make delicious fresh coffee for you during breakfast, and herbal tea is available all day.
