Natural Instinct Healing Detox Health & Wellness Retreat Bali is located in JI Gan.Sari street in Ubud, Bali.
Our “Standard Room” offering is anything but ‘standard’ — 2nd level with a bubbling stream below, queen bed, ‘writers’ alcove, and a clean modern private bathroom. A beautiful modern room with a private bathroom, making it a popular choice and quick to book out. Associated with the element light and the color indigo blue, Ajna is located between and just above the physical eyes, creating the spiritual ‘third eye’. While our two eyes see the material world, ajna sees beyond the physical and allows access to your own higher self and truth of your soul.
A synergy of culture and class — the royal elegance of the stained glass windows, the grounding balance of the river, and the symbiotic heart of our retreat centre. The space has two adjoining bedrooms which can accommodate up to three guests in shared accommodation – with 2 x single beds (Anahata 1) and 1 x small double bed (Anahata 2). There is one big and beautiful shared bathroom for all the Anahata Room guests, and also a secondary common toilet outside, which is shared with day guests and retreat hosts. The room is on the ground floor bordering the common area. Please note that the private shared bathroom comes off one of the bedrooms; so the adjoining bedrooms are private, however “Anahata Room 1” guest(s) need to come through the “Anahata Room 2” bedroom to access the shared bathroom. Named after the heart chakra, Anahata actually means “un-struck” or “unhurt.” Anahata rests in the center of the chakra system, at the core of our spirit. Its name implies that deep beneath our personal stories of brokenness and the pain in our heart, wholeness, boundless love, and a wellspring of compassion reside.
The fiery third chakra is called Manipura, the “lustrous gem.” Associated with the color yellow, this Manipura is involved in self-esteem, warrior energy, and the power of transformation; it also governs digestion and metabolism. A fitting room for guests in the detox programs. 2nd level views across the retreat center Luxurious and chic king bed An opulent bathroom Private bathtub + additional shower A writers desk for igniting all things creative!
Guests are provided complete seclusion and privacy in the Muladhara Room, and with a flowing stream outside the room is comfortably cool; with a king bed, a single day bed, loads of cupboard space and a huge bathroom. The room has limited natural light as it is literally tucked away by itself on a little stream – the perfect room for guests to ‘go within’ in the peace and solitude of their own space… This is a twin share room option with two separate beds in the one room. Centered at the base of the spine is the Muladhara Chakra is also known as the Root Chakra. This energy vortex is involved in tending to our survival needs, establishing a healthy sense of groundedness, taking good basic care of the body, and purging the body of wastes.
An amazing fusion of Balinese and Javanese architecture, commanding the entire private 3rd level with rice paddy views, king bed, semi-outdoor bathtub + indoor shower… Fit for a King or Queen this room is our option for those guests who enjoy the finer things in life – and know they deserve it! The Sanskrit name of the seventh chakra is Sahasrara, which means “thousand-fold” and implies the infinite nature of this chakra, which provides us with our most direct connection with the Divine/God/Source/Universal energy.
The Svadhisthana rooms are two private rooms within our ‘Japanese Garden Villa’ that adjoins the front wall of the retreat centre, located as you enter the main door to the retreat centre. The villa is the newest addition our growing retreat centre space, and provide a great option for complete privacy from the retreat centre itself, but literally adjoining the retreat centre. Room 1 has two single beds (can be joined to make a king), and Room 2 a queen bed – both have private bathrooms, and each room has it’s own private level and huge living space of the two storey villa. The villa theme is “minimalist Japanese” and can be a great option for groups 2 or 3 guests who would love their very own private villa within the retreat centre compound. Named after the sacral chakra, Svadhisthana is defined as the support or foundation to your vital life force / soul.Whilst the base chakra gets our material needs in order, the sacral chakra then allows our emotional nature to be attended to. This is where the unconscious and emotions reside, and emotions, like water, are fluid, ever changing provides us with the ability to accept change and go with the flow of life. Svadhisthana encourages us not to rush decisions but to allow the answers to bubble up from your core in their own time ~ so the bubbling fountain of the Garden Villa sets the perfect backdrop to let go and let things flow.
The Vishuddhi rooms are two identical private rooms within one traditional Javanese teak ‘juglo‘ building, located at the front of our organic vegetable garden. The rooms are the newest addition to the retreat centre space (new build in August 2014) and each come with queen beds, private bathrooms, and a cute little shared verandah out the front which overlooks the retreat centre pool. The Vishuddhi Rooms were created for our guests on a smaller budget, but still want the privacy of their own bathroom. Named after the throat chakra, Vishuddhi literally means ‘purification’, and is responsible for health, youth, and longevity. Purification not only on the physical level, but also on the level of the psyche and mind. All problems and unpleasant experiences that we have “swallowed” and suppressed during the course of our life, continue to exist in the subconscious mind until they are faced and resolved with wisdom. It is this wisdom that we hope guests acquire during their stay in the Vishuddhi rooms.
