Room Amistad (Spanish for Friendship), a room with two individual beds and a private bathroom, is the ideal room for two friends. At Bodhi Surf + Yoga, we know that traveling with friends makes for great memories, and we hope that this room will provide surf and yoga camp buddies a comfortable lodging option.
Amistad is best suited for friends joining the Bodhi Sessions surf and yoga camp. The room has two individual beds, and is simple but spacious, and maintains the homey and comfortable vibe present in the rest of the lodge. It does not have what some consider to be necessities (air conditioning or television), the intention of the Bodhi lodge is to promote comfort, simplicity, sustainability, and harmony — with nature and between guests.
Room Armonia
Room Armonia (Spanish for Harmony), a hotel-style room with a private bathroom, is named after one of Bodhi Surf + Yoga’s fundamental beliefs: the importance of harmony with nature, peacefulness amongst human beings, and the unity of all things.
The room is the ideal room for a solo traveler to stay in during their week-long surf and yoga camp at Bodhi. Room Armonia is also great for couples that plan on making the most of their time outdoors, be it surfing, practicing yoga, hiking, or simply relaxing at the beach. It does not have air conditioning or television — the intention of the entire Bodhi lodge is to provide comfort and foster simplicity, sustainability, and harmony.
Bodhi Surf + Yoga Costa RIca Bungalow Espiritu
Bungalow Espiritu (Spanish for Spirit), a smaller version of Bungalow Gratitud, is ideal for a couple participating in Bodhi Sessions. The idea for Bungalow Espiritu stemmed from our own personal travel experiences as couples: we at Bodhi Surf + Yoga enjoy a simple, quaint, and private lodging option that gives us the ability to prepare simple meals. In essence, Bungalow Espiritu represents the spirit in which we ourselves travel.
Espiritu is a great place for one or two people to rest up between sessions of surfing, yoga, and other adventure. It does not have what some may consider to necessities (air conditioning, television, or microwave), the intention of the Bodhi lodge is first and foremost to provide comfort and foster simplicity, sustainability, and harmony — with nature and between guests.
Bungalow Gratitud
Bungalow Gratitud (Spanish for Gratitude) was the very first structure of the Bodhi Surf + Yoga lodge, finished in 2013. As such, Bungalow Gratitud (or the Bodhi Bungalow as it was first known) represents the beginning of our vision and has been instrumental in providing many guests with unforgettable experiences, and affording us many new friends and the ability to continue building our dream. For this we feel very grateful, and have rightly named it so.
Gratitud is the perfect place for a family or group to repose during their fun-filled week of surfing, yoga, and adventure.
