Their active wellbeing retreat includes daily yoga and meditation. Weaved into the week, you have a cycle day adventure to a nearby waterfall, Pilates, fun fitness session, kettlebell workout and beautiful guided walks.
In the evening, you have yoga Nidra, sound baths and restorative yoga. You also visit temples, lakes and the famous Chiang Mai night bazaar and Sunday walk in market. To relax and unwind, they have Thai and foot massages. This retreat offers a balanced blend of structured activities, as well as free time to relax and simply be.
Louise creates a nourishing container for everyone to come together, to listen, and to journey with this ancient land. The focus of this retreat is renewal and finding balance and equilibrium. The program includes nourishing food, restful sleep, exercise, connecting with nature, bodywork, peace and tranquility.
Indulge in tropical fruits like mango, papaya, and watermelon. They have left no stone unturned to make this a truly magical and enriching experience.
This is a totally guided and 100% escorted activity program. Louise will be with you every step of the way. All sessions are conducted by Louise and some of her favorite local instructors and practitioners.
Healthy meal plan at the retreat
They will provide you with mouth-watering, healthy cuisine in a calm and magical setting. Meals are eaten in the Lanna Villa and they also eat out at local restaurants.
If you like Thai food, then you won’t be disappointed. A sample of their Thai specialties include Phad Thai, Thai green curry, Som Tum smoked salmon, Thom Kha Gai (coconut soup with chicken), and their healthy favorite is Khao Soi with vegetables.
Their fresh meal plan also includes fresh fruit like mango and papaya, salads, and soups. They love their fresh juices and guests get fresh coconuts straight off of the trees. Their nourishing smoothies and juices are made onsite in their own kitchen!
Adjustable meal plan designed for your unique dietary requirements
They have their own Chef Khun Ning who will prepare your meals for you. Their standard menu can be adjusted for vegetarians and vegans. If you have different dietary requirements, then Louise will help you with meal choices. All meals are gluten and dairy-free.
They also eat outside of the Lanna Villa. On Sundays, you have dinner at Tha Pae Gate before you explore the walk in market. Mondays, you take a visit to Khun Nings hotel and restaurant and have a dip in her pool afterward, they can also teach aqua.
On Tuesday's dinner, they will take you to one of their favorite local restaurants where you can feed the fish in their lake. On Wednesday, during the cycle day, you eat at the beautiful ‘Sala café’ restaurant. The Sala café is situated in the unspoiled Thai countryside with beautiful, exotic gardens and a relaxing atmosphere.
Thursday lunch, you eat at ‘Tub-usa’, a local authentic restaurant. On Fridays, you shower, sauna, and swim at the 5-star Shangri-la Hotel. After this, you eat out in Chiang Mai city, right next to the Ping River! Much of the fresh food comes from local organic farms.
