Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice that targets the deep connective tissues—fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones—through long-held, passive postures.
Stored emotions, tensions & stress can be released during this practice while it also supports the process of to breathing through discomfort and staying present in stillness.
Unlike dynamic yoga styles, Yin focuses on surrender, deep relaxation, and energy flow, helping to:
✔️ Improve joint mobility & flexibility
✔️ Reduce stress & promote deep relaxation
✔️ Stimulate the body’s meridian system for energetic balance
✔️ Cultivate mindfulness & inner awareness
In this training, you’ll learn how Yin Yoga complements more active styles and how to intelligently sequence Yin classes and tailor poses based on individual anatomy and energetic needs.
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a holistic healing system that views health as a state of balance between body, mind, and spirit. Rooted in thousands of years of wisdom, it works with the natural flow of Qi (life force energy) to restore harmony. TCM integrates acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, and movement practices, all designed to support the body's innate ability to heal.
At the heart of TCM is the meridian system— with 12 main energy channels that run through the body, influencing not only physical health but also emotions and mental clarity. When these meridians are blocked or imbalanced, discomfort, stress, and illness can arise. By learning to work with these energy pathways in our Yin Yoga Training, we can cultivate deeper self-awareness, improve overall health and well-being, and align with the rhythms of nature.
