While we are both passionate surfers and believe surfing can be a very spiritual experience and a great way to exercise in Nature. The core of this program is the yoga and meditation practice. Salt water has a very cleansing quality and this is a fun way to spend 2 hours daily in the Ocean.
All programs happen at the same time and it is common to have participants that sign up for yoga and meditation join the surf classes too.
We are lucky to have one of the best surf schools in the area as our neighbors! They have lots of experience taking good care and attention with their students.

La Casa Shambala chose a healthy nutritional diet for this training, a diet that consists of “pure, essential, natural, vital, energy-containing, clean, conscious, true, honest and wise” foods, meaning a diet that is simple and vegetarian. The quality of the diet you receive while training is of vital importance, which is why they acquire true and locally sourced ingredients combined very carefully throughout recipes so that you can detoxify the body in a paced manner, and ultimately calm the mind.
