The retreat is about self-expression, self-awareness, and self-confidence. What if you're not an artist or don't consider yourself creative? But what if you're a woman wanting to awaken that creative part of herself? No art experience is needed; just a desire to explore yourself through art. And what if you are an artist?
This retreat will help you go through any creative blocks and help you rediscover that creative you again. The retreat isn't about learning to paint or draw; it's about being inspired and expressing yourself through art, taking time for yourself, and letting new things emerge.
Discover your unique self and enjoy the creative connection with other beautiful women. Alison and Emily will guide you step-by-step on your creative journey with a whole range of art activities, including painting, drawing, clay molding, reflective journal writing, art meditations, and mask making, are just a few. Women's Creative Creative Art and Yoga Retreats will encourage you to start exploring yourself and your feelings through art.
You will start your days surrounded by the fields of Normandy with morning yoga and meditation to connect and recharge with Zhivka, a fully qualified Vinyasa flow and Ashtanga yoga teacher, Barre instructor, and mentor, pre and post-natal, and rehab with more than 10 years of practice and self-development.
After being lovingly guided by Zhivka, you will relax into a beautiful meditation with Emily, then you will have a nourishing breakfast to dive into creativity for a couple of hours. In this women's creativity retreat, Alison uses art therapy to help women express and explore emotions.
In letting go of control and allowing the process, you surrender to life. Her role as an art therapist and artist can help you explore and express yourself authentically. After all that food for the soul, you will be served delicious lunch to give food for the body. Then, a pampering massage is waiting for you. In the evening, you will dive into more art, movement, and creativity, ending the night with dinner and sharing meditation.
The food is vegetarian, simple but delicious!
This is not a detox retreat, and depending on the time of year, they have a wonderful variety of fresh local produce available from their garden and French food markets. They have fresh eggs (you'll see our hens roaming around) and organic honey from their bees! They also enjoy the occasional glass of French wine or Norman cider.
If you have allergies or don't like certain foods, they will make something special for you. They eat and enjoy breakfast and dinner together; lunch is self-serve. Delicious snacks and drinks are available throughout the day.
