Drawing upon Mexican heritage, your dining experience will also feature an internationally influenced menu. A menu choice is rarely ever repeated and focuses on fresh, local organic ingredients.
Yandara cultivates fresh kitchen herbs and vegetables in their own organic garden, where students are always welcome. There are papayas, bananas, oranges, and mangos in their orchard. Special to this Baja training are baked potato days with fresh finely chopped garden herbs (fresh dill, chives, rosemary, basil, and thyme), fresh local Dorado with garden basil pesto, garden beet, and chard salad with balsamic dressing, and samosas with garden fresh parsley/cilantro chutney.
They mainly serve vegetarian cuisine. Mostly beans, grains, and fresh vegetables. In Baja, they serve fresh locally caught fish twice a week. They serve organic food as much as possible.
They are able to accommodate allergies to gluten, lactose, and nuts. As they are a small facility, they are not able to accommodate Paleo, Raw, or other extreme diets. Please consider your dietary needs and contact them if you have a concern.
Some popular dishes are Pad Thai, vegetable enchiladas, sweet and sour Tofu with Broccoli, grilled Mahi Mahi (fish) with herbs, Coconut curry, Samosas with Cilantro chutney, house-designed gourmet pizza, Quinoa, Basil pasta, and Lentil soup.
