In Yandara’s heart-based Kundalini yoga and the chakras module, you will learn deep and effective Kundalini yoga techniques while exploring the transformative power of the chakras. The chakras lay the basis for the teachings of Kundalini yoga and Tantra. You will focus on yoga practices and meditations for the 7 chakras and the aura. This program is well suited to dedicated yoga practitioners and teachers who are looking to add depth to their practice. Students will experience a yoga lifestyle at Yandara’s serene home campus with a secluded beach and a natural setting.
The theory of the subtle body and the chakras comes from the ancient tradition of Tantrik Yoga. There are many branches of Tantra and most of them present a chakra system..five-chakras, six-chakras, seven, nine, ten, fifteen, twenty-one, twenty-eight, and more. The seven chakra system that most of us are familiar with is one of many. We will dive into the teachings of the chakras, both in theory and experience.
You will also get to experience how the sound of the gong can support your meditation. Gongs have been used for thousands of years to balance the nervous system and induce deeper states of meditation. A gong bath is a unique type of sound practice that is often used in Kundalini Yoga; it involves using the sounds and vibrations of gongs to bring about deep states of rest and rejuvenation.

This program will give you the tools you need to enrich your classes and deepen your personal practice. We work with Kundalini Yoga to charge the body and breath, and balance the subtle energy centers we call chakras. The Kundalini Yoga tradition is known for its unique yoga and meditation techniques designed for specific results, such as stillness of mind, abundance and prosperity, healing, chakra balancing, connection to your higher Self, and more.
The ancient tradition of Kundalini Yoga originally made it big in the 1960s and is now on the rise again in modern yoga circles thanks to its ability to energize, empower, and balance the body and mind. Along with focusing on physical postures, Kundalini Yoga awakens and organizes your internal energy to bring you to a state of greater vitality and balance. It includes dynamic movement, powerful breath work, heart-opening chants, and many sweet and deeply relaxing moments in between.
In the process of expanding awareness, we lovingly meet and attend to our shadows through the reevaluation of limiting thoughts and beliefs. Kundalini Yoga will add depth to your life and take your practice and teaching to the next level.

Yandara meals are primarily vegetarian, fresh local fish, boiled eggs, and dairy are optional.
The kitchen team works closely with unique dietary needs, allergies, and special diets (gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan) that are easily accommodated.
