Being a devoted meditation practitioner, her teachings draw extensively from traditional Buddhist teachings of Mindfulness and Loving Kindness.

ASHTANGA YOGA & PRANAYAMA PRACTICE IMMERSION
(limited to 16 students! Students must be familiar with Mysore style self practice)
This is a rare opportunity to join Kia for a full week of practice in a small intimate group, offering space for abundant individual guidance and support to deepen your personal practice. With a sincere dedication to the development of her students, Kia offers an inclusive, warm and creative space open for personal exploration and inquiry.
Kia will share her insights and guidance as we allow space for daily Mysore practice, Pranayama, Kriyas, Mindfulness Meditation and Philosophy.
Integrating all aspects of practice naturally awakens usto the wisdom of our full embodiment, allowing the subtleties of body, breath, heart and mind to unfold and blossom.
The retreat is open for all levels, but you need to have an established Mysore Style - self practice.

Course Content
We open our mornings with Mindfulness Meditation, cultivating deep awareness as we align body, breath, mind and heart. Kia will also introduce everyone to the essential practices of classical Kriyas (yogic purification techniques) as per Hatha Pradipika.
- Followed by Ashtanga Yoga Mysore Style classes, where you receive individual guidance and adjustments. One or two led classes may also be offered to refine our internal and physical awareness of energetic principles, actions and alignment of practice.
Afternoons will be dedicated to the philosophy and practice of traditional Pranayamas and Kriyas in the lineage of Kaivalyadham as well as Meditation, Satsang and exploring mindful principles of Yoga.
These subtler practices take us beyond the physical aspects of yoga to the next level of awareness. We deepen our appreciation of the many layers of the breath and its significance in yogic practices and philosophy.
New students will be mindfully introduced to classical Pranayama & Kriyas, whilst those with more experience will refine and deepen their practice and understanding.

Organic vegetarian cooking, fresh from farm to table!
Mediterranean cuisine at it’s best. Our meals are catered by two local chefs who source almost all ingredients directly from local farmers.
Traditional Mediterranean dishes with a vegetarian twist, a variety of seasonal vegetables and fruits, fresh bread, fresh fruits an array of traditional Greek and of course an abundance of Cretan olive oil.
