Anyone is welcome to join this 100-hour yoga intensive training. It is ideally designed for people who want to experience a yoga immersion with guided support from a professional and expert in yoga asana. It is also designed for yoga teachers to come and gain insights and wisdom in a supportive and inspiring environment to add to their teaching repertoire.
The course/hours count as Continuing Education hours for Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®) only. You will receive a certificate of completion of 100 hours of training from the Vikasa Yoga Academy. This course alone does not qualify you to teach yoga so you need to have also completed a 200-hour foundation yoga teacher training course to qualify as a certified yoga teacher. This is a great addition for yoga teachers or a great intensive for personal development for all yoga practitioners.
This course is a 100-hour immersion, suitable for teachers or anyone who practices regularly. 70 hours will be done onsite at Vikasa, with the remaining 30 hours being accessible online. The online portion can be done before or after the in-person starts. There are no live sessions and you can complete 30 hours of online training for at least seven days.
In addition to world-class training on-site, you will receive a one-year membership and bonus lifetime access to Rama's flagship flexibility and handstand bundles (Rama's Handstand Bundle, Flexibility Bundle, Supportive Courses including myofascial release, knee health, and spinal waves ) available inside his online platform, The Becoming Balance Studio, with new classes and content updated regularly. The additional hours can be done in your own time and are self-paced.
Vikasa serves wholesome, abundant, health-conscious meals in buffet style from 09:30 -11:30 and 18:30-20:30. Both meals are complimentary for every yoga vacation guest. Kickstart your day to an amazing brunch. A freshly squeezed juice, tea and coffee, a sunny side up or vegetable omelette, wholegrain toasts, oatmeal or muesli with yoghurt, or chia seeds pudding, superfoods, veggies with speciality in-house organic dips, vegetarian sandwiches or pancakes, and of course a variety of fresh-cut tropical fruits.
Dinner includes hot soups, flavoursome Thai dishes with tofu, brown rice, two or three vegetarian dishes, fresh salads, dahl, and always one seafood dish. For dessert, we serve fruits, occasional delectable mango sticky rice or other uniquely Thai savouring. The homemade signature tea is a perfect finish to your meal.
Guests are welcome at any time to order from the a la carte menu at Life Cafe anytime throughout the day. Life Cafe is open from 9 a.m-9 p.m and serves a terrific range of fresh salads, wraps, nourishing bowls, healthy snacks, cold coconuts, vibrant smoothies, and guilt-free raw vegan desserts.
