Helene Søs Schjødt is a Danish ceramicist specializing in porcelain clay and silkscreen printing, blending delicate craftsmanship with artistic expression. Inspired by nature, her work features intricate botanical and graphic motifs, developed through hand-drawn illustrations and photography. Each piece reflects her commitment to preserving the handmade character of ceramics—embracing subtle variations and unique details that make every object one of a kind.
Helene holds a degree in ceramics from the Royal Danish Academy’s School of Design on Bornholm and has been dedicated to her craft for over a decade. After running her studio and shop in Svaneke for several years, she returned to her hometown of Copenhagen, where she now works from her store and workshop in Østerbro. Her approach is deeply rooted in letting the clay and hands guide the process, ensuring an organic, tactile quality in every creation.
