A personalized experience during your yoga retreat.
Connection is a very important aspect at The Glowin' Retreats, which is why you are offered a one-to-one session / consultation. It is here that you can connect with your host and discuss your yoga journey. Whether you are working on specific muscle tightness, or need to discover ways of “slowing down,” it is here that together, you can discover the best process for you. After your retreat, you will be sent a summary of what was discussed so that you can continue to develop your practice at home!
You will be welcomed with refreshments and then given a tour of the chateau where you can then take your bags to your assigned room.
Then will have a gentle evening yoga session to stretch out after a long day's travel and then dinner in the evening, where you will be able to get to know one another better. Every day will begin with a yoga class out on the canopied terrace or in the yoga studio, followed by breakfast. You will then have some free time to explore the parkland before lunch.
There are morning and evening classes every day, with the last class being the evening. You will discover different styles of yoga from dynamic Vinyasa to a gentle flow. On some days in the afternoon, you have the option to participate in workshops to deepen your practice. These workshops will vary from posture workshops to deepening your knowledge in meditation.
On the first or second day of the retreat, you will have a one-to-one session / consultation where you can discuss more about your lifestyle and find a practice that benefits you the most.
There will be a guided hike on one of the afternoons, so please bring suitable footwear!
All yoga classes, walks and workshops are optional. If there are days you do not feel like participating, then that is fine! Take the retreat at your rhythm!
The Cuisine
While you retreat at the Château de Cadrès, Sharon, the in-house chef, will be in charge of nourishing your bodies with cuisine that respects both your body and the environment! A plant-based chef who certainly likes to make the table as colorful as possible with the food sourced as locally as possible and from scratch!
After your morning yoga practice, there will be a buffet breakfast awaiting you to nourish your body for the day ahead. Lunch will also be buffet style and in the evening, you will have a 3-course dinner.
After dinner, Sharon will make you a delicious drink and explain all the ingredients and health benefits behind it so that you can make it at home!
