All tours and excursions must be booked in advance and may not always be available. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to departure time. Any cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a fee and/or will be counted as one of the included excursions in your retreat package.
Surf at one of the most famous surf spots in the world! No previous experience is necessary. Includes board rental. Medium-high intensity.
See wildlife while paddling through the rivers and mangroves of Guanacaste. Includes board rental. Low-medium intensity.
Zip through the forest and even free fall bungee jump on this exhilarating adventure. Medium intensity.
Guided nature hike to a waterfall (swimming hole during dry season). bring hiking or tennis shoes, a swimsuit, water bottle, and expect to get wet! Medium-high intensity.
Ride through the lands of Guanacaste and along the beach on this guided horseback tour. No previous experience is necessary. Medium intensity
Time and price varies depending on the date and number of participants. Transport to and from Tamarindo (price may vary depending on numbers ) you may choose a group departure time.
There are optional spa services available.
Two meals (breakfast and dinner) are typically included in your package. Pagoda Yoga offers a variety of catering options to choose from. Lunch and snacks can be added for an additional charge. The menu offers both vegetarian and omnivore options and can also be prepared vegan or gluten-free upon request. Playa Negra is also home to local restaurants that are all within a 15-20-minute walk from Peace Retreat.
